<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hidden object searching method in which a migration process for obtaining from a radar image a depth image that does not generate a virtual image is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The hidden object searching method includes a step for receiving a reflected signal intensity from the object and for generating voxel data for making the reflected signal intensity into the data on the coordinate (x, y, z) consisting of the position (x, y) on the medium surface and the reflection time t, a step for expanding the range of the reflection time t to a positive direction from the upper limit thereof, for the voxel data, and for performing a data number expansion process for appending a predetermined number of voxel data to the extended region, a step for performing the migration process using a discrete Fourier transform and a discrete Fourier inverse transform for the voxel data after the data number expansion process, and a step for displaying on a display a part or all of the voxel data after the migration process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
