<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module capable of being integrated with a mobile apparatus without the need for carrying a non-contact IC card and to provide the mobile apparatus having an IC card substitute function capable of non-contact communication with the mobile apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile apparatus 1 with an IC card substitute function is characterized in that the module (UIM) 2 for the mobile apparatus having an integrated control circuit, a memory, and an antenna coil is removably mounted in the mobile apparatus, the mobile apparatus has an antenna coil 11 electromagnetically coupled to the antenna coil 21 of the module for the mobile apparatus, and the mobile apparatus makes non-contact communication with an external device through the antenna coil 11 of the mobile apparatus.
