PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor cleaner which prevents toner from falling in a housing, eliminates the need for periodical cleaning of the inside of an air chamber with a cleaning brush or the like, is highly reliable, and decreases maintenance cost. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor cleaner for an electrophotographic system includes: a fur brush disposed in a position so as to have a fixed nip-width with respect to a photoreceptor; the housing which has a suction port at the photoreceptor side and an exhaust port at the opposite thereof and encloses the fur brush with a fixed gap between them; an air duct connected to the exhaust port of the housing; and a cylindrical air chamber connected to the exhaust side of the air duct. The cleaner is provided with an air chamber cleaning member which is in contact with the internal wall of the air chamber and rotates having the center of the air chamber as its axis.
