PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate-roofed roof for a house facilitated in snow removal with the improved new structure for houses in an area of heavy snowfall, and to provide a construction method therefor. SOLUTION: A heater is incorporated, at least, in the eaves. The heater is formed from a surface heater. The surface heater is provided with both electrodes, and formed from a cloth formed by weaving heating fibers. As the cloth, a glass fiber cloth formed from glass fibers is used. The glass fiber cloth is impregnated and coated with the thermosetting resin, which can contain the fire retardant at request. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
