PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die which has a cavity face showing a uniform temperature distribution and is efficiently heated up when a molded product is manufactured by injecting a molten resin into a cavity. SOLUTION: This molding die is equipped with a bottom force 11 and a top force 12, a cavity 5 formed in the bottom force 11, a heat generation member 13 which forms the face of the cavity 5 and is composed of a ceramic material having conductivity and dielectric properties, a coil 14 installed on the periphery of the member 13 and a high frequency power supply 16 for supplying high frequency electric current to the coil 14. Alternatively, the molding die is equipped with the bottom force 17 and the top force 18, the cavity 5 and the heat generation member 13 provided in the bottom force 17, the coil 14 installed in the top force 18 opposite to the cavity 5 and the high frequency power supply 16. In either of the described constitutions, induction current is generated in the heat generation member 13 by the high frequency current 16 supplied to the coil 14 and heat is generated in the member 13 itself by the induction current. Consequently, the temperature of the cavity face is uniformly distributed and the molding die is efficiently heated up. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
