PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant cleaning device suctioning and treating a floating cut chips. SOLUTION: The coolant cleaning device is provided with a coolant suction means for sucking the coolant flowing out from a flow out port 27 for the coolant containing the cut chips from a central part of a bottom surface 26 of a cylindrical circular coolant tank 15 for generating a vortex 29 in the coolant containing the cut chips; a joint means for joining it such that the coolant can be circulated between the coolant flowing out port 27 and the coolant suction means on a lower part of the bottom surface of the circular coolant tank 15. An immersion coolant pump 14 in which a level 31 capable of being sucked by a coolant pump from the bottom surface of the circular coolant tank 15 is set to a half or higher of a height dimension of the circular coolant tank 15 is provided on an upper surface of a central part of the circular coolant tank 15.
