PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed device of a work carrying apparatus, which is used for carrying works such as sheets and panels for press molding to the next press station, for transfer press. SOLUTION: A support table 24 is arranged at the one end of a left and right feed bar 3 which is supported slidably in the longitudinal direction on a feed bar support table 2 of a lifting and scaling unit 1. A screw 18 parallel to a press line L is rotatably supported at an opening part 28 of the support table 24, and connected to a feed motor 19 through a speed retarder 30. One end of the feed bar 3 is connected to the lower side of a screw engagement member 20 engaged with the screw 18 through a connecting member 21, which has a slide mechanism for moving both in the vertical direction and the orthogonal direction to the press line L. The feed bar 3 is moved to the press line L together with the screw engagement member 20 by rotating the screw 18 with the feed motor 19, so that the works are fed by the work holding tool equipped on the feed bar 3.
