The attachment system has a rail bounding an undercut channel open at the edge and an adapter for mounting on the rail and engaging the channel. An adapter head section rotatable between a position in which it engages the undercut and a second in which it can be removed has spring-elastic ends on at least part of its surface that can adopt a maximum elastic deformation state when the head section is in an intermediate position. The attachment system has a rail (1) bounding an undercut channel (11) open at the edge and an adapter (2) for mounting on the rail and engaging the channel. The adapter has a head section (14) rotatable between a position in which it engages the undercut and a second in which it can be removed.
