<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary surround signal from being reproduced in a first zone to obtain a sufficient multichannel sound reproduction effect in a second zone wherein only a main speaker is installed. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 8 is a mode setting means capable of selecting either a first mode wherein a main speaker of a B system is used in the first zone having a main speaker and a surround speaker of an A system installed therein, or a second mode wherein the main speaker of the B system is used singly in the second zone. A DSP 3a stops the supply of a surround signal to a surround speaker, and adds sound effects to main signals L and R, when an output to a speaker output terminal in the A system is turned off.
