<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative ion generator with raised safety characteristics by not driving only an ultrasonic vibrator. <P>SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower means 7 coaxially provided with revolving droplet separating net 5 is separatably provided via a connecting part 8 and an operation state detecting means 16 detecting an operation state is provided. When the centrifugal blower means 7 is detached, signal of the operation state detecting means 16 is sent to a controlling part 14 to stop drive of the ultrasonic vibrator 3. Consequently, drive of only the ultrasonic vibrator 3 is eliminated and the negative ion generator with raised safety characteristics is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
