BATTERY PACK, COMPOSITE BATTERY PACK, AND VEHICLE MOUNTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having a structure reduced in weight and capable of efficiently restraining vibration.

SOLUTION: This battery pack 20 comprises four layer stacks 15 having eight flat batteries. Each layer stack 15 is composed by stacking two of the flat batteries 10 as a unit so that heteropolar terminals 104 and 105 of the upper and lower flat batteries 10 are led out in the same direction. The four layer stacks 15 are so arranged side by side that the positive electrodes 104 of the respective upper flat batteries 10 are set in the same direction. The flat batteries 10 are fixed by respectively pressing the upper surfaces of the upper flat batteries 10 of the respective layer stacks 15 by pressing members 41 of fixing devices 40 to which the other ends of fixing spring 42 each having one end attached to a cover 25 are mounted. The homopolar terminals of the four layer stacks 15 led out in the same direction are respectively connected to bus bars 21 by being welded at welding parts 24. The bus bars 21 are connected to terminals 22 and 23 led out from the cover 25. The battery pack 20 is so structured that the eight flat batteries 10 are enclosed in the cover 25 for the set battery, and the two sets of the four sets of the flat batteries 10 connected in parallel with one another are connected in series to each other.
