<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite type IC card and its manufacturing method reducing defective machining of an antenna coil end and irregularity in communication range. <P>SOLUTION: The contact-cum-non contact composite type IC card has a built-in antenna coil 12 for sending and receiving data in an interior of the card 1, and it has a COB (chip-on-board) board 3 with a built-in IC chip 4 having terminals for sending and receiving data in a surface of the card 1. It is comprised by including metal plates 10a and 10b in the interior of the card 1, connecting the antenna coil ends 12a and 12b to the metal plates 10a and 10b, and connecting connection terminals 20a and 20b of the COB board 3 to connection terminals 11a and 11b provided on the metal plates 10a and 10b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
