<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting system enlarging a visual field range. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of almost semicylindrical shape fine lenticular elements 30 comprising translucent materials are arranged radially from a point-like light source 5 so that the length direction is agreed with a direction perpendicularly crossing to a groove 16A of a light reflecting pattern on the lower surface 7 of a plate-shaped light guide body 3 of the planar lighting system ID. Although if the lenticular elements 30 are not installed, visual angle distribution in the circumferential direction (tangent direction) of the light reflection pattern is narrowed, but by installing the lenticular elements 30, the visual angle distribution in the circumferential direction (tangent direction) of the groove 16A of the light reflection pattern 15A can be widened, and the visual angle distribution can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
