<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire winding jig, which is capable of properly winding a flat-type wire for controlling it sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The wire winding jig is used for a coil manufacturing device, which winds the flat-type wire around a rotary shaft 4 for manufacturing a coil 5. The wire winding jig is equipped with a cylinder where an axial hole 13, through which the rotary shaft 4 is inserted is bored. The cylinder is equipped with a ring-shaped end face 15 bearing against the end face of a coil 5 wound on the rotary shaft 4 and a tapered face 14 formed, extending from the outer peripheral edge of the ring-shaped end face 15 toward the periphery of the cylinder; an outlet 16 nearly as wide as the flat type wire is provided to the ring-shaped end face 15; and a feed opening 17 for feeding the flat type wire is provided to the tapered face 14.
