摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional code reader which can confirm a read operation with a two-dimensional code being set actually.

SOLUTION: The two-dimensional code reader has a reading test mode which repeats, two or more times, the operation that performs decoding processing with a decoding part after acquiring image data with an image-taking part with the two-dimensional code being set in order to confirm whether or not the reading operation of the two-dimensional code is normally performed ; and an illumination distribution confirmation mode which acquires the image data with the image-taking part with the two-dimensional code being illuminated with an illuminating part in order to confirm the illumination distribution in the visual field range of the image-taking part. By repeating feedback which sets a more favorable condition based on a read trial result, the setting of the optimum reading condition of the two-dimensional code is achieved.
