<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating combined sewage which effectively clean the combined sewage on rainy weather and remarkably reduces contaminant outflow to the public water area. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating combined sewage is provided with equipment for subjecting effluent of a primary settling tank in the apparatus for treating combined sewage to coagulation separation, a flow path for discharging one part of the coagulation separation treated water to the public water area and a flow path for causing the remaining part of the coagulation separation treated water to flow into an activated sludge treating tank.
