<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule for optical communication or a fiber array for optical communication which is formed as multiple fibers and is high in dimensional accuracy, facilitates processing and is inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector has a plurality of insertion bores for inserting optical fibers arrayed at prescribed intervals, wherein the accuracy of the center-to-center distances between the adjacent insertion bores is within±0.5μm and the parallelism in the axial direction of the bores between the adjacent insertion bores is within±0.1°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
