摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot hand which can be miniaturized and reduced in cost irrespective of the kind of the cartridges with its high reliability in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a library system equipped with a recording and reproducing apparatus for a cartridge medium 15 and a storage shelf 19 for a cartridge, the robot hand for conveying a cartridge between the recording and reproducing apparatus and the storage shelf is composed of a hand mechanism which includes a hook for holding a cartridge and an actuator 16 and performs a back and forth movement and open/close operation of the hook, and a mounter 21 into which a cartridge 15 is pushed when the cartridge 15 is loaded in the recording and reproducing apparatus or the storage shelf 19 with the hand mechanism. The back and forth movement and the open/close operation of the robot hand and the push-in operation of the mounter 21 are carried out by a single motor. Hold and release of the cartridge 15 is conveniently performed by the movement of the hook, the actuator 16, and the mounter 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
