<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for emergency releasing capable of preventing a plug from bolting out of a socket by the fluid pressure remaining between the socket and the plug when detaching the socket from the plug. <P>SOLUTION: The inside of the socket 1 is partitioned into a front inside 4 and a rear inside 5 with a partition wall 3, and a fluid passage 6 opening to the front inside 4 and the rear inside 5 is formed. A cylindrical socket valve 8 is slidably fitted into the front inside 4. A valve hole 9 which radially communicates with the fluid passage 6 opening to the front inside 4 at the retracted position and advances and slips, is radially provided through on the peripheral wall of the socket valve 8. A plug fluid passage hole 30 radially communicating with the valve hole 9 of the socket valve 8 is radially provided through at the position where a lock ball 17 provided on the socket 1 engages with a lock groove 28 provided on the plug 2. A plug valve 34 which advances to close the plug fluid passage hole 30 and retracts to open it, is provided in the fluid passage 33 in the plug 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
