PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallocene catalyst system with high catalytic activity in the metallocene catalyst system including selection of silica supports which increase active center in the catalyst system. SOLUTION: The invention is directed to a metallocene catalyst system and a method for preparing the system. The metallocene catalyst system comprises the supports and metallocene bound substantially throughout the support. The selection of certain supports facilitates the production of metallocene catalyst system having increased catalytic activity than previously recognized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
