PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a circuit and to reduce in size and cost by suppressing an increase in a switching loss to a minimum limit without using a saturable reactor. SOLUTION: A full bridge type inverter 4 converts a DC signal from a DC power source 2 into a high-frequency signal. The high-frequency signal is supplied to a primary side of a transformer 12. The high-frequency signal induced in a secondary side of the transformer 12 is rectified by a rectifying circuit 14. Its rectified output is supplied from a rectifying output terminal 14p to a power source output terminal 18p, and is fed back from a power source output terminal 18n to a rectifying output terminal 14n. A reactor 20 is interposed between the output terminal 14p and the output terminal 18p, and one end of a reactor 22 is connected to a connecting point of the terminal 18p to the reactor 20. A cathode of a diode 24 is connected to the other end of the reactor 22, and an anode is connected to the terminal 18n. The reactors 20, 22 are magnetically densely coupled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
