PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transducer capable of manufacturing the transducer of a high specific gravity at a high yield. SOLUTION: (a) A granulation method of a spray drying system by an agitating vessel 8 and a spray drying vessel 9 of a suspension 7 mixed with mixed metal powder, a resin binder, etc., is introduced and the grain sizeνof the suspension 7 in particular is set at a range of from 500 to 2,000 cps as process conditions and (b) a binder removal treatment method by a heating furnace equipped with a trap for depositing the thermal decomposed coal tar, etc., of the resin binder is applied. As a result, the mixed metal powder which is granulated to an approximately spherical shape particularly in particle shape and which has good fluidity is obtained and if this metallic powder is used for pressure molding, the fluctuation in the amount of the powder M packed into molds for molding can be suppressed and the transducer can be manufactured at the high yield.
