PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carriage which can be resin molded simply and quickly and can deal with modification of design readily and quickly. SOLUTION: The carriage 1 consists of two units, i.e. a moving section unit 20 and a recording section unit 30. In the recording section unit 30, engaging parts are formed at positions corresponding to engaged parts 23 and 24 formed on the side face of the moving section unit 20. The recording section unit 30 can turn about a center of rotation A with respect to the moving section unit 20 and the angle between a recording head and the carrying direction of a print sheet can be adjusted. The moving section unit 20 and the recording section unit 30 are resin molded and modification of design of the carriage 1 can be dealt with by modification of design only of the recording section unit 30.
