摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-chemical machining method for stably machining a fine shape at a high accuracy without receiving an influence of passivation of a surface to be machined. SOLUTION: A passivation film removing pulse P<SB>0</SB>at an application time t<SB>0</SB>is applied before a plurality of machining pulses (P<SB>1</SB>, P<SB>2</SB>, P<SB>3</SB>, etc.: on time t<SB>1</SB>) of a predetermined frequency are applied. After the application of this pulse P<SB>0</SB>, in the state where an electrolyte is made to flow in a gap between the object to be machined and an electrode tool, the machining pulses in which an off time t<SB>2</SB>from one pulse to the next pulse is set to the time when a peak of a large voltage waveform by the passivation of the surface of the object to be machined is not generated or less are applied at a predetermined frequency. By this method, an oxidation coating film or the like deposited on the surface of the object to be machined from before machining is removed and the state of the surface to be machined just before the machining pulse is applied is made uniform. The amount machined per one machining pulse is stabilized without receiving an influence of the passivation of the surface of the object to be machined advancing during the off time t<SB>2</SB>.
