PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet clamping/unclamping mechanism in which a clamping delay time when performing clamping, using a piston cylinder member is not generated when the pallet is clamped on a table. SOLUTION: The pallet clamping/unclamping mechanism includes: a pull stud downwardly projected from the pallet and integrally formed with the pallet; a pulling-in shaft 7 provided with a collet 9 pulled to a direction of a table 6 at a tip end; a clamp spring 8 for urging this pulling-in shaft to a pulling-in direction; a balance lever 5 pivotally supported to the table 6 for pushing up the pulling-in shaft in resistant to the clamp spring at one end in order to open the collet; and a contact element butted to the other end of the balance lever and descending when a movement body is positioned at a pallet exchange position.
