PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operation rate and to reduce running costs by controlling an operation time loss and a repairing cost by the maintenance of a titanium sponge crushing jaw crusher. SOLUTION: The titanium sponge is crushed between a moving blade and a fixed blade 1 by the swinging of the moving blade diagonally arranged to face the the fixed blade 1. Carburization steel is used for at least the inner wheel and outer wheel of a bearing 4 installed between an eccentric rotary shaft 3 for swinging the moving blade 2 and the moving blade 2. The breakage of the bearing 4 by the repeated application of a high load caused by the characteristic physical properties of the titanium sponge is controlled, so that its replacement frequency is decreased largely.
