PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the effect by the positional shift of a space phase distribution due to body movements and to provide information on a stable temperature change. SOLUTION: An echo signal containing a temperature data in an examinee is measured by performing a temperature measuring pulse squence to obtain time series data and, when a temperature change distribution is calculated from the spatial phase distribution thereof, a phase encode applied to the echo signal is controlled in a synchronous relation to a breathing movement and the low-frequency region of a k-space is applied on the basis of the echo signal measured in timing within the same displacement range. By calculating the temperature distribution image using this time series data, a highly reliable temperature distribution image can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
