Flanging process for furniture component parts, in which a border strip is applied upon contiguous sides of a furniture component part or furniture piece, the process comprising the steps of: - obtaining a border strip on which there is provided, on at least a surface thereof and crosswise with respect thereto, at least an indentation; - heating up, if required, said border strip in correspondence of said at least an indentation; - applying adhesive or glue onto said border strip or said component part; - applying said border strip onto a first side of said component part, while positioning said at least an indentation on top of or close to a discontinuity or corner; - bending said border strip in correspondence of said discontinuity or corner so as to eventually involve a distinct and adjacent second side of said component part. |
