The boiler is based on a conventional series-production cast-member heating boiler, but turned upside down, so that the combustion chamber is in the upper part and the exhaust gases leave through the colder lower part. No exhaust gas fan is necessary. An exhaust gas heat exchanger is fitted outside the boiler.
