PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to restructure an optical network system using a plurality of wavelengths.

SOLUTION: An optical module 1 comprises a waveguide unit 2 having an optical waveguide and a filter unit 3 which is attachable to and detachable from the waveguide unit 2 and has a filter. Then the optical module 1 with the attachable and detachable waveguide unit 2 and filter unit 3 is incorporated in the optical network system. At this time, the filter unit 3 is used which has a filter 7 transmitting only the wavelength of a light wave to be added or dropped.
