<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate by setting a return period in detail for each lending article by notifying a scheduled return date to a customer at a scheduled return date of the lending article, and notify information immediately when a return status is changed on the specified lending article at a request of the customer. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes a lending information storing part 24 for holding lending information for each lending article including a lending state indicating the article is being lent or not, a lending period, the scheduled return date when the article is being lent, and customer information which a request for lending information service is registered, and a lending processing part 23 for calculating the scheduled return date from the lending period of the lending article when the customer conducts a lending procedure of the lending article, changing the lending state to the state indicating that the article is being lent, and updating the corresponding lending information, notifying a return date to a customer terminal of the customer who borrows the lending article which is being lent at the return date, and notifying a lending status after update to the customer terminal 12 of the customer who registers the request for the lending information service when the lending status including the scheduled return date and the lending state is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
