<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cards in which a card can be extracted without touching an electrical contact point on the surface of the card by a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: The card 1 can be extracted without touching the electrical contact point on the surface of the card 1 by grasping both ends in the width direction of the card 1 which is exposed from the cover 20 with fingertips A, since another end side of the cover 20 is formed so that one part in the both end sides in the width direction of the card 1 is exposed outside of the cover 20. In this case, the card 1 can be easily extracted by a simple construction because one part of the card 1 is exposed from first notches 26 formed at both ends of the cover 20 in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
