<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reader allowing easy replacement work for an imaging optical part. <P>SOLUTION: An optical unit with a light receiving sensor, a lens unit 19, an illuminating device and others assembled and mounted on a mounting base 17 thereof is placed in a main body case 12 to constitute a bar code reader. An opening 24 to be opened and closed with a lid 25 is provided in a lower part of an imaging optical part housing part 17a on an undersurface part of the main body case 12. An opening 17b corresponding to the lens unit 19 is formed in a bottom plate part of the mounting base 17. The lens unit 19 is held by a holding member 27 having a positioning and holding means 29 for positioning and holding the lens unit 19 on a mounting plate part 28, and the holding member 27 is detachably screwed to the opening 17b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
