<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel particulate filter for giving no great load to an engine. <P>SOLUTION: A case 3 is arranged in an exhaust gas passage 1 through which exhaust gas from the engine is exhausted. The exhaust gas passage in the case is formed as a synthetic resin pipe 5 in which an open hole 7 is formed penetrating internally/externally through the synthetic resin pipe. A cylindrical body 11 to be rotated by a motor 9 is arranged on the outer side of the synthetic resin pipe in the case in the state of approaching the synthetic resin pipe. The cylindrical body is formed of a magnetic material and provided with an open hole 21 penetrating internally/externally through the cylindrical body.
