<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping unit with a branch pipe connection port which requires little labor hour to make a piping unit, leaks little water from the pipe, can connect a branch pipe even if there is small space above or under a slab, has small number of members and slight pressure loss, can make a piping unit of easy taking-up and delivering work in a little labor hour, facilitate connecting work of horizontal piping and shorten working time of high lift work, and offer the vertical piping method in the building using it. <P>SOLUTION: The piping unit is used in the vertical piping of a multistory building and a flexible thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe having continuous length over a plurality of stories or whole stories of the building. A plurality of branch saddle joint is provided at the same interval as that of the upper surfaces or under surface of the floor slab of each story of the building each other on the side of the pipe in the middle of the pipe. The pipe is connected to the side of the pipe so that the axial direction of the branch pipe connecting port of the branch saddle joint is approximately perpendicular to the pipe axis direction of the pipe, and the whole pipe is taken up to the reel so as to be able to deliver.
