<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile telephone wherein a microphone and a loudspeaker or the like are placed at proper positions outside its enclosure in a folded state of the foldable mobile telephone so that a user can use the foldable mobile telephone in the folded state. <P>SOLUTION: A second loudspeaker 15 is placed at a prescribed position so that the foldable mobile telephone 1, wherein a display section main body 5 is freely foldably provided in an operation section main body 3 with a hinge mechanism 7, can be used in a folded state, and the loudspeaker 15 is also brought into an ON state in the folded state by a changeover switch. Further, functions such as a microphone unit, a power ON button, and a power OFF button are placed on an exposed part in the folded state, so that the user can transmit a call or the like in the folded state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
