<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily marking car numbers, patterns or the like consisting of characters, symbols or the like on a glass plate such as automobile front glass by an inexpensive apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent resin sheet 3 such as a vinyl chloride based material is inserted into the space between transparent glass plates 4.
