PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that wastes of plastics such as a steering wheel of a car, an air bag, a bumper and the like are disposed of as they are, are incinerated or are buried in land and the like although they are partly shredded/separated by utilizing an ordinary metal shredder, but these are not satisfactory. SOLUTION: When plastics of plastics composite waste material are recovered, waste materials of plastics provided to the steering wheel, the air bag, the bumper and the like are successively supplied to the shredder. Then, in the shredder, selection into crushed waste metals and crushed waste plastics are carried out via an intermediate wall surface moved in a mm unit, upper and lower side shredder dampers moved in a mm unit and a hammer. Thereby, the shredded waste metals having a commodity value can be achieved as effective utilization of resources. Further, the shredded waste plastics having a commodity value can be recycled as a fuel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
