<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconstruct a virtual topology by disconnecting a path without any traffic loss in a multilayer path network. <P>SOLUTION: When a certain node disconnects a path with its own node as a starting point, the node first declares that the path is blocked in advance and notifies the whole nodes in the network that the path is blocked in advance. Because the nodes that have received the notification recognize that the path is disconnected sometime in the future, if there are nodes that use a path of an upper layer routed by using the path with their own node as a starting point, the nodes have the path of the upper layer bypassed. The node of the starting point which is going to disconnect the path confirms that path of the upper layer passing the path is bypassed to another path and clears out and subsequently disconnects the path.
