PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development which uses a black coloring agent containing no harmful material, which is excellent in fluidity and transferability of the toner, shows stable electrification behavior for long-term use or for printing on many sheets, and results in no scattering of the toner or fog, and which can form a printed image with sufficient image density and no changes in the image density. SOLUTION: In the toner for electrostatic charge image development containing a binder resin and a coloring agent, the coloring agent is C.I.Pigment Black 12 and the toner has a spheric form.
