PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vibration control performance by making access the wave form of displacement generated from the active vibration control device to sinusoidal wave vibration wave form generated from the vibration source in the active vibration control device demonstrating the vibration control function by reciprocating a movable member with an actuator. SOLUTION: The movable member is made to access to a liquid chamber partially partitioned with a first elastic body 1 deformed by the vibration from an engine of the vibration source, and the movable member is reciprocated by exciting the coil of the actuator in accordance with the vibration of the engine. The active vibration control device demagnetizes the coil and reciprocates the movable member by the elastic repulsive force of a second elastic body. The device generates the force against the elastic repulsive force of the second elastic body by exciting the coil in a part of period which the movable member reciprocates. Thereby, the vibration control performance can be improved by making access the wave form of displacement generated from the active vibration control device to the sinusoidal wave vibration wave form generated from the engine as shown in Fig. 4 (c).
