PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production costs by eliminating costs required for constructing an interface by composing functions of a processor for controlling a video part and an engine part only of a single processor. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with an engine mechanism part 150 for applying printing work to print data, a video part 110 for converting the print data into image data which are recognized by the engine mechanism 150, and an engine control part 130 for controlling the engine mechanism 150 to carry out the printing work to the image data in accordance with control of the video part 110, and the video part 110 and the engine control part 130 are directly connected with a processor 118 via a system bus 120 and drive the engine mechanism 150 in accordance with the control of the processor 118.
