PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure back focus and to enhance optical characteristics. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus is provided with an imaging lens 10 and an imaging device 11 and in the imaging device 11, a sensor 22 is arranged in a recessed part 22a of a package 22 and the recessed part 22a is sealed by seal glass 23 of which the third surface 23a and the fourth surface 23b are formed as curved surfaces.
