PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a reproducing device capable of smoothening reproduced video of images recorded on nonlinear recording medium such as an optical disk and a magnetic disk in a high-speed reproduction mode. SOLUTION: A stamp video decoder 44 decodes stamp video data supplied from a media controller 42 according to control of a system controller when a user selects high-speed reproduction, overlappedly stores (adds) in a memory 45 stamp video data of at least two frames or more among a plurality of reproducible frames at a reproduction rate in a frame unit and forms an image for high-speed reproduction configured by overlapping the stamp video data each other by a portion at a time in each frame time at a reproduction rate.
