PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort e-mails in each management unit such as an important item and an emergent item on the basis of attribute information included in the received e-mails and to present the sorted e-mails to a receiver in each management unit. SOLUTION: An e-mail server extracts attribute information included in an e-mail transmitted from a transmitter (S2), sets a management unit previously related to the extracted attribute information in the received e-mail (S3), sorts the e-mail on the basis of the set management unit (S4), and stores the sorted e-mail in a prescribed storage position in an e-mail DB. The e-mail server extracts e-mails stored in the e-mail DB in each receiver's address set in the e-mails (S6) and presents a list of the extracted e-mails on a receiver's terminal device in each management unit.
