PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water/cold water mixing device that can stably discharge water at a target set temperature even with the use of a temperature-sensitive spring formed of shape memory alloy with a small spring constant. SOLUTION: The hot water/cold water mixing device moves a movable valve element by expansion and contraction of a coil-like temperature-sensitive spring to mix high-temperature water and low-temperature water to discharge mixed water at the target set temperature. The temperature-sensitive spring is made of the alloy that is mainly made of Ni and Ti and has a proportional relation between spring constant and temperature in a range of Ms≤70°C, Mf≥10°C, and Ms-Mf≥15°C, where Ms is transformation start temperature (°C) at a cooling time and Mf is transformation end temperature (°C) at the cooling time. The temperature-sensitive spring is used in a range where mounting distortion r of the temperature-sensitive spring shown in the equation 1 is 0.6-1.4%. r = (d×ST /πnD)×100 (%) ....
