PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC (prestressed concrete) steel bar used for concrete poles, concrete piles, etc., and more particularly a PC steel bar having button heads. SOLUTION: The high-strength rolled PC steel bar which is steel containing 0.8 to 1.3 C, has a pearlite area rate of≥80%, YS (0.2% yield strength) of≥1,200 MPa, TS of≥1,400 MPA, and elongation of≥4.5%, is button headed, and has a difference between the maximum hardness and minimum hardness of≤70 Hv and the method for manufacturing the same are provided.
