PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody selectively coupling with a transferrin-homolog carbohydrate deficient transferrin CDT (Carbohydrate Deficient Transferrin) in aqueous solution, and not necessitating the CDT coupled to a solid phase. SOLUTION: In the CDT at least one of the two oligosaccharide chains normally coupling to Asn 413 and/or Asn 611 of the transferrin are completely or practically completely deficient, and the antibody specifically couples with the CDT.
