SOLUTION: A po character service server 9 receives a user ID read from a close friend "po chara"(R); phonetic doll mounted on a stand 23 from a personal computer 22, and when it receives a content ID, it determines whether or not the content ID is registered in a "po chara" database 10 in correspondence to the user ID. If the ID is registered, the "po chara"service server 9 reads enciphered content data stored in the personal computer 22, it deciphers the data by using a cipher key stored in the "po chara" database 10, and supplies it to the personal computer 22. The present invention can be applied to a personal computer.
