<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with continuous carrying of various cards such as cash cards, and enable use of only a necessary card when necessary. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual card system comprises a virtual card terminal for transmitting a request for issuance of a virtual card as an electronic form of information recorded or written on a card, plus user information, to institutions issuing various cards for banking transaction and the like; a plurality of virtual card issuing terminals for receiving the virtual card issuance request including the user information and issuing a virtual card of the user that their associated institutions are authorized to issue; and a virtual card delivery server for receiving a request for virtual card registration from the plurality of virtual card issuing terminals, registering it for every user in a storage device, and delivering the requested type of virtual card to the virtual card terminal in response to a request for virtual card delivery from the virtual card terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
